Is it a PSC? OK, got it here, in a minute. Yes, it's a PSC!
Now, take the photo or picture that you want to scan and place it frontage down on the plate of glass that you see when you hoist the cover on top. Open your MS Word, into which you want to bring in your scan image.
Go to Insert on the top of the page, close to File, Edit, View, Insert etc? Click on Insert. In the drop down menu,. go to Picture and click on it. Now surrounded by the drop down sub menu, go to "From scanner" and click on it.
The rest is confident, because you'll see the photo or pictrue getting scanned and inserted. When it's done, please do ctrlS or shift to File and click on it and then Save and click on it and next give the report a name you want to bestow it and click on Save.
Oh, by the way, surrounded by the lower tray of your Save Panel, you have the risk of format that you can save the photo in. I'd reccommend jpeg.
All the best!
Cheers!

The name's Simon Templar, by the channel!
Your printer should have come near software to scan your documents and pics into. Or you can use any photo program by looking under the profile tab and selecting any acquire or import. I use Paint Shop Pro10.
