What cause purple streaks from my scanner after the scan is sent to the printer. I enjoy tried two printers.?

I know that it is the scanner and not the printer(s). This purple streak covers almost 2/3 of the page and is vertical form top to bottom of page. Is something dirty? The cup appears to be clean. ??

You scanner is processing colors that are outside of the breadth that colors most ink printers are capable of reproducing.



Try finding the color calibration settings for the scanner, and reducing them



The channel you computer, your printer, your monitor, and your scanner interpret colors, is not always standardized.



If you're really serious around your scanning and printing, you might benefit from a color calibration tool from a company resembling Spyder or Pantone.
