Scanner Error?

I basically brought a new Canon MP180 and everytime i tried to print sour something, it comes up with scanner error 5010, how can i fix it?

Try to uninstall and reinstall the sofware
in recent times check the documentation for this device it will tell ue the error justification for this error number
