Scanner Mustek 1200 UB is not recognised by my puter...?

...it's at hand into Control Panel just as I plug it (USB), but no scannign programs will recognise it.

This is up after I installed my digital camera (it was working till then). I even tried to uninstall the camera and install the scanner afterwards, but it didn't work.

ages since I've done this so you might own to do a bit of work yourself..



on the scanning program it should enjoy a setting in the first column at the top of the eyeshade to change the Twain driver or input device - check which one it is.. it probably say its your camera.. just use the verbs down menu and change it to your scanner
Your scanner is old-fashioned and your software is maybe not recognised by your OS try down loading a subsequent version from the web, it might work, my mate had a 1200USB but we could not bring back it to run at all.
