Scan directly to a memory card ?

I am looking for any available scanners on the open market that will scan directly to some type of memory card. It would need to be a flatbed scanner. A picture scanner will not work. Is there anything resembling this out on the market ? I would resembling to be able to scan documents directly to a memory card beside no computer intervention required. Any ideas?

Scan directly to a memory card ?

The All-In-One (printer/scanner/copier/fax) machines that enjoy the PictBridge (memory card slots) built-in to them have the handiness to scan straight to the cards. Read some of the reviews by following the links below... Some of these All-In-One's also have the faculty to work without a computer (like the HP Officejet 7310 or 7410) -- you would want something approaching that. Check out the links below for more information.

1. get a regular scanner

2. scan it into your computer

3. put the info onto a memory card

4. delete the info from your computer
The all-in-ones can do this as reported from previous answerer. I enjoy seen HP Photosmart 3310 and 3210 doing this. They can scan a page and store to different types of memory cards (SD, xD, CF etc.) and also to USB drive. The 3310 can do cynical scans too.
