scan my ports?

it comes up like mad can i do anything to stop it

scan my ports?

Theres nothing you can do to stop general public or bots scanning your ports; merely use an up to date firewall and make sure you're contained by stealth mode.

You can check your firewall at the Shields Up site, its safe;

port scan is like houseflies. No you can't stop it, lately make sure they don't find a port that's adjectives. If you run your own mail server, you could switch bad undelivered email bouncebacks - that reduces the information that the hacker have to confirm your IP address is a real one. Also you can send regrets to answer ping requests. But both of these features are actually adjectives in plentiful circumstances. On our system we left them both running, and hold a pair of firewalls and a complex password policy so that the hacker will find it concrete to get within through the ports even though s/he has confirmation that they exist.

We did spot a hacker doing password scan once, and called the police. They followed it up pretty briskly. The hacker didn't get contained by.
its people trying to find into your system....ensure your anti virus and firewall are up to date. You can check if your system is vunerable at

you must put your reports into your scanner (if you have one). press the scan button later wait for it to appear on your PC peak.

but if it keeps coming after just unplug it and after plug it back contained by (take it out of the PC give it a blow and plug it rear in) because there may be some dust inside.
